Day 1
Quito – Baltra – Santa Cruz Highlands

Greetings by an English-speaking guide at Baltra Airport. After crossing the Itabaca Channel to Santa Cruz Island, we head up to a farm in the highlands for a delicious lunch. We will visit a tortoise Reserve were you will experience the emblematic giant tortoises in their natural habitat. You will continue to Puerto Ayora for check in at the hotel.

Day 2
Santa Cruz – Isabela (Tintoreras Islet)

Breakfast in the hotel and transfer in the early morning to the dock were you will take a fast boat to Isabela (navigation time 2 hours). Arrival to Isabela dock where you will have to pay USD 20 to enter the Island (not included). You will be received by a guide who will take you to the hotel for check in and for lunch. After lunch we will visit the Bay and Tintoreras Islet where you will see one of the large colonies of marine iguanas and maybe some penguins. Snorkeling is also included here. Return to the hotel for accommodation.

Day 3
Isabela Island, Tunels

Today the guide will pick you up at approximately 7h30 -8h00 for your tour to the Tunnels. A series of ancient lava flows created hundreds of arches and tunnels, both above and below the water. The striking geological formations are outdone only by the extraordinary collection of creatures that call this place home. The water is cool and still and an astonishing array of marine life is visible from above as you trek across the lava arches and bridges or from below as you snorkel in this unique habitat. Box lunch is included on this day activity.

Day 4
Isabela – Santa Cruz, Tortuga bay & Grietas

Today you will return to Santa Cruz Island. The guide will pick you up at early in the morning at the hotel and will transport you to the dock to embark on the public boat to Santa Cruz Island. After 2 hours you will be arriving to Santa Cruz Island. At you arrival to Santa Cruz you will pick up by another guide and will start with a tour in Santa Cruz Island visiting Tortuga bay and Las Grietas site. This are two of the popular destinations to visit in Santa Cruz Island.

Lunch will is included. After the activity you will check in at the hotel.

Day 5
FD Navigation tour

We will take a boat tour to one of the inhabited neighboring islands: North Seymour, Bartolome, Santa Fe or South Plaza. Each Island has its unique natural habitat and wildlife. Snorkeling off the boat is a highlight of the trip. (The Island to visit will be confirm the day of booking the tour according to availability). Arrival at Santa Cruz in the afternoon. The rest of the afternoon is on your own to relax or enjoy of Puerto Ayora.

Day 6
Santa Cruz- Quito or Guayaquil

Transfer from your hotel in Santa Cruz Island to Baltra Island and airport to catch the flight to the continent. This transfer is assisted with a driver. At your arrival to Quito a driver will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the hotel. End of the tour.

Our guides are Certified Naturalist Guides from the Galapagos Islands. You will have different guides for the navigation trips and the land tours. They speak English and are knowledgeable of the flora and fauna on the Islands.

What kind of outfit do I need for this trip?

Weather in the Islands is warm/hot. Light weighed clothes like shorts and t-shirts will be good for this part of the trip. Bring shoes that could get wet in case that you need to have a wet landing on any of the navigation and don´t forget swimming suit. Wet suits are recommended to bring or rent for some of the snorkeling on certain seasons.
