Day 1
Quito/Guayaquil – Baltra – Santa Cruz Highlands

Greetings by an English-speaking loacal guide at Baltra Airport. After crossing the Itabaca Channel to Santa Cruz Island, we head up to los Ranchos in the highlands for a delicious lunch. We will visit a tortoise Reserve were you will experience the emblematic giant tortoises in their natural habitat. After this visit your will be transfer to the hotel for Check in. The rest of the afternoon is on your own to discover a little bit of Puerto Ayora. The capital of the Galapagos Islands.

Day 2
Navigation Day

A variety of Wildlife can be found on the Galapagos Islands, and almost all of it endemic. The Islands appeared from lava eruption that came from the ocean floor; more than 2000 craters have continuously changed the terrain of the region. Today, the archipelago includes 13 large islands, 6 minor islands and more than 40 islets.

We will take a yacht tour to one of the inhabited neighboring islands: North Seymour, Bartolome, Santa Fe or South Plaza. Each Island has its unique natural habitat and wildlife. Snorkeling off the boat is a highlight of the trip. (The Island to visit will be confirm the day of booking the tour according to availability). Arrival at Santa Cruz in the afternoon.

Day 3
Navigation Day

After breakfast, you will pick up from the hotel and will departure to the airport to catch the flight to the continent. At your arrival to Quito/Guayaquil you will be receive and transfer to your hotel. End of the service

How are the guides?

Our guides are Certified Naturalist Guides from the Galapagos Islands. You will have different guides for the navigation trips and the land tour. They speak English and are knowledgeable of the flora and fauna on the Islands.

What kind of outfit do I need for this trip?

Weather in the Islands is warm/hot. Light weighed clothes like shorts and t-shirts will be good for this part of the trip. Bring shoes that could get wet in case that you need to have a wet landing on any of the navigation and don´t forget swimming suit. Wet suits are recommended to bring or rent for some of the snorkeling on certain seasons.
