We depart from Quito towards Otavalo Market. On route we will stop at a Rose plantation and hacienda. We will have some snacks served in this beautiful hacienda that belonged to the Jesuits long time ago. After this we will visit the rose plantation where you will see the process of production of Ecuadorian roses. We will then continue to San Pablo Lake and the Totora’s market, Totora House where we will have the chance to experience the process of creating different products of this kind of aquatic grass.

After this visit we will move to Otavalo town to have lunch and to the textile market known as “Plaza de Ponchos” where you will have time for shopping. Remember, locals will always give you a higher price so don’t forget to bargain with them, it is part of the experience.

After shopping we will continue to the Hacienda for check in and accommodation. Dinner is included.

This day after breakfast at the Hacienda we will go to Cotacachi town and its leather market. Amazing goods like jackets, belts, purses and shoes made of leather and at a very low cost. This is a place worth visiting. After all this shopping we will have a visit to one of the National Parks called Cuicocha where we will have the chance to see one of the active volcanos and its lake in the center of it. We return to Cotacachi for lunch and then we will will visit San Antonio. This little town is the best place to watch and buy wooden figures.
