Guayaquil is the most important port city of Ecuador and the biggest populated city of Ecuador. It is known as the gateway to the Pacific coast of Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. It is located along the Guayas River (Not by the sea). In the north, Las Peñas neighborhood is full of colorful houses. The stairs lined with cafes and art galleries go up to the Santa Ana hill. The Malecon is the scenic walk, that goes on the side of Guayas river. These are some of the attractions of the city.
